septembre 2008 Montreal "men’s rights" activist Andy Srougi has lost his defamation lawsuit
Montreal "men’s rights" activist Andy Srougi has finally lost his defamation lawsuit against À bâbord ! magazine and feminist activist Barbara Legault. Srougi had accused both of having "uttered hateful comments" about him in Legault’s article "Des hommes contre le féminisme" (men against feminism), published in the October/November 2006 issue of À bâbord ! magazine (#16). The trial was held on June 4-6 in Montreal and judgment was rendered on September 12.
